Description:

Inowrocław is a 75 thousand-citizen town situated in the centre of West Kuyavia, it is also its capital city. It is located at the crossing of domestic roads No.15 and 25 in a small distance from Bydgoszcz (around 40 km), Toruń (around 35 km) and Gniezno (around 65 km). Inowrocław is often referred to as ‘the city on salt’. It is connected to its exceptional location on enormous salt deposits whose healing power has been used for many years until today. The over 85 ha park called Solanki is the spa part of the city. The central facility of the park is the exceptional graduation tower – an enormous construction in the shape of two polygons connected to each other and forming a closed space –  the inhalatorium facilitating treatment of many diseases. The other attractions include a mineral water drinking room with a palm house, aromatic gardens, papal gardens, a sandy beach, tennis courts, an outdoor gym, a rope park, a barbecue place and endless paths which are the paradise for joggers, roller skaters and cyclists. The park is famous for its beautiful flower carpets, picturesque ponds and numerous monuments. All the sanatorium buildings are also situated there. In 2013 the saline park received an award in the contest for the Best Tourist Product from the Polish Tourist Organisation as the only tourist attraction of Kuyavian-Pomeranian province.Inowrocław is a 75 thousand-citizen town situated in the centre of West Kuyavia, it is also its capital city.
