Parking
Parking within and in the vicinity of the Old Town is covered by the paid parking zone (from 8 am to 6 pm). On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, parking in the area is free throughout the day.
It is divided into three parts:
- Śródmiejska (Old Town)
- Zone A
- Zone B
Price:
The cost of parking in the Paid Parking Zone depends on the time of parking and the Subzone:
- the first hour of parking in the Śródmieście Zone - PLN 6.20
- the first hour of parking in zone A - PLN 3.50
- the first hour of parking in zone B - PLN 1.60
It is worth knowing that finding a free parking space within the center of Toruń, at certain times, can be very difficult. In addition, some of the streets in the Old Town of Toruń are excluded from vehicular traffic, and some entry is possible only for cars of residents and vehicles transporting goods. One should also pay close attention to the numerous signs in the Old Town of the ban on entry and the ban on parking.
THE ENTIRE AREA OF THE TORUŃ OLD TOWN COMPLEX HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED INTO A RESIDENTIAL AREA.
In the Old Town, pedestrians take precedence over other vehicles (everywhere!), And the maximum speed has been limited to 20 km / h.
Parking is available only in designated places, it is forbidden to stand where there are no painted signs on the street surface.
Therefore, we encourage you to park in numerous parking lots located in the immediate vicinity of the old town. We assure you that a short walk will allow you to stretch your bones after the trip. Very often, the time spent looking for a free parking space on the narrow streets of the old city may turn out to be too long for impatient travelers.
